Hey I’m Shana.
I am passionate about helping my clients reduce their aches and pains, de-stress, feel an improvement in mood and overall sense of well being, and get in touch with their body. As a lifelong exerciser, I have a special appreciation for the effects manual therapy and purposeful stretching has on athletes and those with consistent workout routines. I am here to help you continue your training and keep you staying healthy by kneading out the muscles that work hard on your behalf.
Massage therapy is not just a systematic approach to manipulating the soft tissues in the body. It is that, and so much more. Massage therapy allows me as the practitioner to trust my intuition and be artfully present to the needs of each client in every moment. No two sessions are ever the same, and it demands utmost awareness from me as I tune in to what the body needs on that day. The recipient is given the opportunity to trust their body and enter a parasympathetic “resting” state where they can let go of stress, mentally repose, and experience deep relaxation. It is most rewarding to me when I experience the sense of renewal and calm affect my clients feel after they receive a massage.
